The Corner

The corner I took to slow

And fell on my elbow

Taught me to keep my

Head and road to eye.

Now I race the circuit

Leaning over and work it.

I may come second to last

And you see am none to fast.

The chase is what I be after.

In the end it’s all for laughter

So don’t be so serious

Roll and just be curious

No matter the days or nights

At all the men in tights.
