How simple would it be to ride round and round.
How sublime it would be to have but one direction
To match with others to sprint ahead if only for a dash
To pair and sling a Madison round the banking turns.
Rain or shine in the quiet of the night, a swoosh to hear
Of wheels and chain, some rubber across the wooden track
A dome a home for velo drones itching for some speed
Why is it so hard to make such a place.
And ladies night could be a show and not so slow
The juniors round can make a stand
And set some ready for those tours grand
Round about the town that started the great square
Why not have more bike lanes oval
Most of all I can dream of speed taxi free.
